  1. Eli Fennell says:

Shit! Even the default Free Music Tracks can't be uninstalled on iOS devices! ;-P

  2. Yes, it’s very amusing to watch the backlash, With or Without You and looks like it’s more Without You!

  3. Except for U2, they got quote the news coverage.

  4. What does it say about iPhone users if they can be wooed by U2 in 2014?

  5. Paul Wooding says:

Will there be an app to remove the Edge's hat?

  6. Cavinlance says:

its okay… not everyone is a fan

  7. For anyone who missed out, U2 is available in Google Play All Access, so you might already have it…

  8. Alex S says:

+Eli Fennell in fairness… as opposed to Samsung bloatware that I to this day can't uninstall on my Galaxy phone… like that "venerable" Aldiko eBook reader, or Mini Diary, etc. etc. …? 🙂

  9. Alex S says:

    +Eileen O'Duffy yeah, that terrible backlash of a record-setting 4M iPhone 6 pre-orders…

  10. Max Huijgen says:

+Farhad Divecha That Apple is hugely popular with male baby boomers.
The whole 'keynote'(corporate speak for product announcements) was filled by middle aged white males.

  11. As a male baby boomer I can honestly say I wouldn't know a U2 song if it hit me. I'll just delete it.

  12. Eli Fennell says:

+Alex Schleber I was being sarcastic. And anyways, it's not like I'm known to be a Samsung fan, quite the opposite in fact.

  13. freddy Humm says:

don't worry they all will be gone soon. just imagine an eternal silence in the entire universe.

  14. Max Huijgen says:

+freddy Humm contrary to popular belief a Bono-less universe is not the entire universe; just a better place..

  15. Travis Blair says:

What's so wrong about this? Apple gave people free music, from a famous band. Am I missing something?

  16. Alex S says:

+Travis Blair on G+, what's wrong about this is that it contains the word "Apple"… 🙂

  17. Polish Paul says:

"Oops we messed up and accidentally gave away free music and now U2's lawyers want to sue us. If you would like to delete that and give us more money so the edge can get a new beanie please click here." – Apple

  18. Fail? It was a slight annoyance (not being able to delete a free album is probably the most first world problem one can imagine) and Apple responded in a couple of days. Meanwhile, you've had another chance to talk about Apple 😉

  19. +Max Huijgen which might mean that they've either accepted that iPhones are no longer "cool" or "trendy" with young consumers OR they know the young fanboys will buy no matter what, so they're trying to appeal to the more affluent baby boomers

  20. +Alex Schleber I was poking gentle fun at U2, not Apple #IrishSenseOfHumour !

  21. I wouldn't mind but it's a great album
