A German detective agency offers this extremely high reward on behalf of a mystery client to a whistleblower who can reveal who was behind the downing over the Ukraine of flight MH17. The money is already deposited on a Swiss bank so it's no hoax.
The owner of the detective agency says he doesn't know the identity of the client, but the offer of a new identity suggests it's a state actor or an extremely influential group.
To be rewarded you need to answer the following questions:
– Who shot down MH17 on July 17?
– Who gave the order?
– Who covers up the shoot down? (Also, if it was by accident and not out of political, economic or military motivation)
– Who can provide details on the circumstances that led to the shoot down?
– Who was directly involved with the shoot down?
– What happened to the people that were involved with the shoot down? What happened to the weapon used?
– Who can name the people that cleared the shoot down?
So far the investigation in the shooting of MH17 progresses extremely slowly. The Dutch and Malaysian government will be interested in these questions, but it's very unlikely that they would interfere with the official Dutch led investigation.
My money is on Russia: if they are innocent as they claim, offering 30 million and a new identity is peanuts compared to the damages in international reputation and economic boycotts.

Russia knows. If not, they have real problems. My bet is Malaysia is behind this offer.
someone shot it down and i guarantee they werent paid 30 mil to pull the trigger
Maybe they're trying to lure someone out.
+Max Huijgen Your money is on Russia as what? The source of the reward money, or the party responsible for the downing?
A new identity will just mean no-one will ever know when the hired hit man or government agent eventually tracks them down and assassinates them. And they will.
Whoever it is, will need to do it for their conscience and not for the money.
New identity. Poor fellow will disappear in Gulag
The main purpose is perhaps to suggest to those who covered this up, or the ones who did it, that soon the truth will be known.
I agree that the one who comes out with the info sure should have some insurances installed to prevent complete identity removal.
To be fair +Able Lawrence the advise is to contact that agency through a lawyer.
I can't see any advantage for the Russians (if they are offering the prize) to have the man disappear.
A new identity for the whistleblower won't protect the whistleblower's immediate family, parents, siblings, best friends – all of whom could be used to pull the whistleblower out of their new identity. If the whistleblower has no such family or friends, they might consider the offer, otherwise, I don't think so. The offer may still go unanswered; we may never know for sure.
But then all witness protection programs would be doomed and they seem to be effective +Jo Dunaway
People usually take their close family with them.
We don't know how many are found and assassinated though, do we? +Max Huijgen
We don't +Jo Dunaway but criminals have quite effective networks so these deals would stop working.
